Game of Thrones: The Comedy

What if Game of Thrones was a comedy, specifically a Seinfeld-esque comedy? We no longer have to wonder because this next video is Game of Thrones meets Seinfeld, and like most things on the internet, they go really well together. Joffrey getting slapped by Tyrion is even more fun to watch with a laugh track.

Alicia Keys Sings The Gummi Bears Theme

Alicia Keys recently visited the stage on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and her performance was both memorable and original: She chose to sing the intro theme of the retro cartoon Disney's Gummi Bears, much to the delight of many nostalgic fans out there. I wonder if this version of the Gummi Bears will be available on Alicia Keys next album?

Deadpool Dances Gangnam Style

Gangnam style has become a worldwide sensation. The song and dance routine has even crossed over into the comic book world, where everyone's favorite "merc with a mouth" has joined in on the fun. Watch Deadpool as he rides the invisible horse and proves he can shake his tail feather.

Watch The Battle Of Hoth Recreated With Minecraft

Star Wars meets Minecraft in this next video. Star Wars fan (youtuber ParadiseDecay) took the time to build an awesome Minecraft version of the Battle of Hoth. If you've ever played Minecraft, you would know that this must have taken an insane amount of patience and time to create. The end result makes me realize that my own Minecraft world is vastly inferior in many ways...

Honest Trailers Take On The Avengers

As a fan and subscriber of Honest Trailers on youtube, I was very excited to see that they had made an honest trailer about The Avengers. Apparently they had a massive amount of requests for them to tackle The Avengers movie, but the creators claim that it was difficult to find material to critique it. Well they found enough material because this honest trailer is exactly what you would expect from them. Trust me, after watching this trailer, you will wonder how you never noticed the earpiece issue before. Does anyone know how they were able to communicate with each other in the final fight scene?

Singing Ewoks

When I think of Ewoks, I think of cute teddy bear-looking creatures who helped the rebel alliance win a crucial battle in Return of the Jedi. This next video just makes them seem creepy.

Live Action Captain Planet Trailer

If the title got you excited to watch Captain Planet on the big screen, don't get too excited: it's a fan-made trailer. The plot is simple enough: Ten years after the Captain Planet TV Show, Gaia calls upon the Planeteers to help fight large scale environmental pollution by an evil corporation. It's just like in the original TV show, except the kids are all grown. Wouldn't this be great if it were a real movie?

Batman Meets The Scarecrow

Watch Batman Fight The Scarecrow With Hilarious Results.

What does Batman fear? Some pretty unusual things actually. The Scarecrow learns that Batman has some weird phobias when he unleashes a dose of fear gas onto The Dark Knight.

Video: The Dark Knight Rages Playing Video Games

Batman is full of rage and should not be playing video games. If you have seen the Batman and Robin movie, you might get a few laughs out of this, while on the other hand, you will be reminded of the awkwardness of the Batman and Robin nipple suits. Why did those suits have nipples anyways?

NASA Astronaut Does Yo-Yo Tricks In Space

NASA astronaut Don Pettit used some of his off duty time while in space to teach kids about physics using a yo-yo. Although some people have been complaining about the fact that showing yo-yo tricks in space is not a proper use of  tax payer dollars, I think it's fair to say that it is: because it was in his spare time, and doing experiments like this one is a great way to get people (especially young people) interested in NASA and science.

Dark Knight Rises/Call Me Maybe Parody

This video has some catchy lyrics, but the best part about this one is the perfect casting: the guy they chose to play Bruce Wayne really looks like Christian Bale's twin. I had to do a double take, because I actually thought it was Christian Bale for a second.

Conan O'Brien Plays Skyrim

Conan O'Brien is one clueless gamer and he knows it. That's why he has created a segment on his show Conan, where he takes a popular video game, plays it, and reviews it for a few laughs. In this weeks segment, he plays the popular game Skyrim.

The Entire Chrono Trigger Game In Under 6 Minutes

If you have ever played Chrono Trigger, you will know that it's one of the best games on the Super Nintendo. That's saying a lot considering the SNES has some of the best games of any system (It's my favorite gaming console of all time, so I am pretty biased). If you ever get nostalgic about the game, or just want to see what it looks like, youtuber vgcuts has abbreviated the entire video game in less than 6 minutes.

Mario Stop Motion Animation With Post-It Notes

How many Post-It notes does it take to make Mario come alive? In this case it took 7,000 to create this amazing stop motion animation video. 7,000 post-it notes is a lot of paper, but the amount of post-its isn't the only impressive thing about this video, the work and time that went into this is also formidable. Congrats to Youtuber FinalCutKing, whose Mario stop motion animation is now circulating around the web.

Colin Mochrie Reenacts His Favorite Star Wars Scenes With Action Figures

Canadian comedian Colin Mochrie, famous for his performances on Whose Line Is It Anyway?" reenacts famous scenes from Star Wars with action figures. I can't help but think about the scene in Spaceballs where Dark Helmet is playing with his dolls.

Robert Downey Jr. Surprises Young Fans at Comic Con

Photo from fronttowardsgamer.com

Imagine this: you're a kid that is lucky enough to go to San Diego Comic Con, your parents even let you dress up as Iron Man. You enter into a costume contest and get to hang out with other kids who are also wearing Iron Man costumes. Can it get any better than that? Yes it can: how about we add Robert Downy Jr? He showed up at the San Diego Comic Con to surprise some young Iron Man fans during a costume contest. How sweet is that?

Duke Nukem Reads 50 Shades Of Grey

Warning: Language

50 Shades of Grey is an erotic novel that currently holds the record for fastest selling paperback in the world. The story centers on a young woman who encounters a wealthy businessman and they enter into a dominant-submissive relationship. Jon St John is the voice actor who does the voice of the video game character Duke Nukem. He was asked to do a reading of 50 Shades of Grey as Duke Nukem at a convention panel. The result is interesting (to say the least) and makes me wonder what other characters should do 50 Shades Of Grey readings.

Star Wars Conversation With My Twelve Year Old Self

What do you think a conversation between Anakin Skywalker and his older self as Darth Vader would sound like? In this next video Darth Vader is able to speak to his younger self thanks to hologram technology. Apparently young Anakin only wants to talk about Pod Racing and Droids, and Darth Vader only wants to warn his younger self never to jump over Obi-Wan Kenobi in a fight if Obi-Wan has the higher ground. Because you know... that move led him to fall into lava with no limbs and then his face got burnt off.

The Star Wars Call Me Maybe Music Video

I thought I would take a break from posting stuff about the San Diego Comic Con and post something unrelated instead. Unless you have been living under a rock these last few months, you would know that singer/songwriter Carly Rae Epsen has a popular song that a lot of people like to sing to, dance to and make their own similar videos. The song is called Call Me Maybe, and it's everywhere. So what could be more appropriate than posting a Star Wars related Call Me Maybe music video on Spaceships And Spice? Enjoy.
