In what might very well be the most adorable moment at this year's San Diego Comic Convention, a 6 year old girl asks the Doctor about the Weeping Angels, being clearly frightened by them. Matt Smith, who plays Doctor Who, gives a wonderful answer and puts all her fears to rest.

Robert Downey Jr. Surprises Young Fans at Comic Con

Imagine this: you're a kid that is lucky enough to go to San Diego Comic Con, your parents even let you dress up as Iron Man. You enter into a costume contest and get to hang out with other kids who are also wearing Iron Man costumes. Can it get any better than that? Yes it can: how about we add Robert Downy Jr? He showed up at the San Diego Comic Con to surprise some young Iron Man fans during a costume contest. How sweet is that? 

Deadpool Video Game Trailer

Back in the 90s I was obsessed with Deadpool: he was easily my favorite comic book character. I remember thinking that it would be awesome if they did more Deadpool stuff and I know I wasn't alone in thinking; because in a few years he has gone from being fairly unknown to pretty mainstream. Here we are in 2012, and Deadpool is everywhere, so it's only fitting that he finally gets his own video game. Here is the Deadpool: The Game trailer as shown at the San Diego Comic Con:

The Walking Dead Season 3 Trailer From The San Diego Comic Con

This is an excellent trailer for season 3 of The Walking Dead, which reminds us that we have lots of new and exciting things (and people) to look out for in upcoming episodes, such as the prison, Michonne and of course the Governor. The Walking Dead will return to AMC on October 14th, and I only wish we could watch it a little sooner.

Firefly 10th Anniversary Reunion at the San Diego Comic Con

This event was one of the major reasons I was sad I was unable to attend the Con this year: The cast and crew of the ill-fated Firefly TV show, reuniting for their 10 year anniversary at the San Diego Comic Con. Yes after 10 years I still miss the show, and when I watch season 1 I get all nostalgic and wonder what could have been.
