President Obama And Nichelle Nichols Share A Smile And A Vulcan Salute

Nichelle Nichols who is famous for her much loved role as Lieutenant Uhura from the original Star Trek series, visited United States President Barack Obama on February 29th to celebrate Black History Month. Apparently Obama is a huge Star Trek fan and could not resist giving the Vulcan salute alongside Nichols during the photo op.

Nichols tweeted that "A photo came to me in the mail that I've kept for myself for over a week, but now it's time to share it with Trekkers everywhere - Live Long and Prosper".
