Anyone interested in the Star Wars Universe should check out The Galactic Empire Times, reporting on the death of Obi Wan Kenobi.
This fake newspaper article comes complete with fake headings, interactive features, maps, photographs and op eds all with all contributing to the feeling of what it would be like living in the Star Wars universe under the rule of the Empire.
The article opens declaring the death of Obi Wan Kenobi and continues on with details of Obi Wan's role in the rebellion and the Galactic Empires fight against terrorism. Created intentionally to have similarities to the recent killing of Osama Bin Laden and the subsequent speech by US President Barack Obama which was covered in the New York Times. My only wish is that this was a regular newspaper event. One of the funniest parts is the comments section.
