Where Were You When The NASA Curiosity Rover Landed?

Where were you when Curiosity landed on Mars?

Landing on Mars is no simple feat, one small miscalculation and an entire year of planning will be thrown out the window, not to mention the ramifications it could have if the rover is even slightly damaged. It took a lot of people to make this event happen. It took a lot of people and it also took a lot of time, effort and money to get Curiosity to Mars. It's a big deal. and I don't think that the Mars Curiosity Rover got the attention that it deserved. Me? I was watching from home, but it seems like a lot of people didn't even know this event was happening. It traveled all the way from Earth to Mars, a journey of 563 MILLION kilometers (or 350 million miles) and landed safely on the red planet. It's heartwarming to see people coming together and anxiously cheering on the safe landing of the Mars Curiosity Rover, one of the coolest moments of 2012.
