For those of you who were confused by Prometheus, especially if you had issues with the black goo, Carlos Poon has created this wonderful infographic to help clarify things. One thing I am still wondering about: it's implied that the black goo and the Engineer were combined to make people, but we never really found that out for sure, did we?
It takes a lot of black goo mixing to make a xenomorph, now doesn't it?
