New Pictures of Superman: The Man of Steel

New pictures have emerged showing Henry Cavill working on his new movie, The Man of Steel, where he will be playing the lead role. People were worried that he was not packing enough muscle mass and that he was possibly wearing padded clothing while on set, but judging from these pictures he looks ripped. Ripped enough to be Superman? ... You decide.

Avengers Sweded/Parody is Lots of Fun

It's nice to see that people are still making sweded movie trailers, because parodies of blockbuster movies are some of the funniest stuff available on the internet. If you haven't watched the actual Avengers trailer, well, you should watch it before you watch the sweded version.

Best line in the trailer: "So this movie is basically Iron Man 3, right?" So true.

"Epic Cosplay Action"

This video was created by the youtuber GakAttack while at the FanExpo in Toronto this summer. It is important to remember that this is a homemade video that a fan made while visiting a convention and it is still better than some professionally crafted things out there right now.

Original Star Wars Trailer

The original Star Wars-Episode IV trailer from 1977! According to the narrator: "this may all be happening right now" and the movie is "the story of a boy, a girl.... and a Universe! Wow it's times like these that we can all be thankful that trailers have evolved to be so much better than they were back then! The trailer makes the movie look too weird and boring, not too mention the music just doesn't seem to fit in that well. What did you guys think?

New Toys: Masters of the Universe Classics Collection

Good news for Masters of the Universe fans! The line of He-Man and She-Ra action figures entitled "Masters of the Universe Classics", will be releasing new figures this coming December and from the looks of it, it is guaranteed to interest any and ALL MOTU fans out there! The new additions to the collection includes classic renditions of favorite characters like He-Man and She-Ra, Swift Wind, Skeletor and the Sorceress, as well as lesser known characters such as Snout Spout. I was skeptical that I would personally want to buy some of the new Masters of the Universe figures at first, but after watching the unveiling video courtesy of the people at Kotaku, I will be shelling out some hard earned cash for a few of these lovely figures for myself! Have a look at the video and let me know what you think!

Mistaken Hero Identities

Wait, you mean the hero in the Zelda video game franchise isn't called Zelda, his name is Link?!? Most gamers can relate to the feeling you get when you hear someone ask this question. When people don't know what the main character's name is in a video game, it can drive people mad, but getting the title characters confused happens a lot more than people would like to think. Here is a great video of some of the most popular games which hold the most confusion:

Disney Men Re-Imagined

Ever wonder what Disney characters looked like in their underwear? Here is a bunch of Disney's animated male characters re-imagined to look more lifelike and wearing nothing but boxer briefs. The artist is David Kawena and his amazing art work can be found on his deviant art page here.

Some people have mentioned that they find it slightly disturbing to see their beloved childhood memories turned into art work with a more adult theme. Hopefully most people can look past this, because the art work is very well done, and this reinterpretation of iconic Disney characters gives a fresh spin to these classics.

Firefly Fans: Mudders Milk Tee

"Tell us about this design.
Mudder's Milk is the, uh, beverage of choice in Canton. It's not exactly delicious, though. I am not really a fan of Miller Lite (haha), so I figured it would make a good parody! Plus, it's definitely a more subtle nerd shirt--so if you like to keep your nerdiness low-key, this would be a great shirt for you. :)"
